Points

What are Points?
Points are what we use to track a member’s dedication to the SQUARE ENIX MEMBERS program. It’s how we determine what your Level is, and to what Tier you currently belong.
What are Levels and Tiers?
Your Level is a way to show off how active a Square Enix fan you are. It’s a running total of all the Points you’ve ever earned.

Your Tier is a rank based on the number of Points you’ve earned in a one-year period, and it determines what kind of presents you’ll be eligible for when MEMBERS distributes rewards. For more information, visit the page About Tiers.
How do I earn Points?
The most basic method of earning Points is to enter the serial code found on Point Cards in designated Square Enix products. Every time you buy a new Square Enix game, be sure to log into your MEMBERS account and register your game to claim your Points.

We may introduce more ways to earn points in the future, so be sure to keep an eye out for details.
Where do I go to enter the Point Card serial code?
After logging into your MEMBERS account, at the top right of the page is your Member Status window. Click on "REGISTER YOUR GAME AND EARN POINTS" and enter the serial code in the registration panel that appears.
Is there a way to tell which products include Point Cards?
All physical Square Enix games released after March 17, 2009 will include a Point Card. If you’re unsure when a game was released, you can refer to our list of all products eligible for online registration.
What do I get for all these Points I’m earning?
As you accumulate Points, you may become eligible for a promotion to the next Tier of member ranking. You'll automatically move up through the stages as you earn more Points. At certain times, you'll be able to claim special prizes according to your Tier, so keep earning those Points!
If I buy two copies of the same game, can I get Points from both Point Cards?
If the game is available for multiple platforms, each version of the game is eligible for product registration. Other than the situation described above, though, the same product may not be registered more than once to the same MEMBERS account.
I lost my Point Card. Can I get another one?
Lost or damaged Point Cards will not be replaced for any reason, so be careful with them!
How many Points do I have?
You can view the Points you’ve accumulated in MEMBERS Points section of the Account Center.
Can I save my Points forever?
You will maintain your Point total for the life of your MEMBERS account. This is reflected in your Level. Your Tier will be reset annually on April 1st. Points accumulated during the next twelve months will be used to reestablish your Tier ranking until it is reset the following April.
If my Tier will be reset each year, shouldn't I wait until I see an Ultimate prize I really want before redeeming my Point Cards?
Serial codes may be redeemed for Points at any time. However, individual methods of earning Points may cap at certain totals, varying from year to year.

So even if you redeem Point Cards from 20 games in one year, we may have a cap at 18 games, based on the number of games we've released that year. You will still earn Points for those other two games, but they will not count toward advancing to the next Tier.

We recommend redeeming your Point Cards as soon as possible to avoid missing out on any added value.
